Dr. Shady Y El-Monier, Head of Basic and Applied Sciences – The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport – Sharjah Branch – UAE, obtained his B.Sc. in Physics, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, Egypt, 2007. Then, he gained his Master Degrees, and doctoral degree in Nuclear Physics from the Faculty of Science- Alexandria University – Egypt, in 2011 and 2016 respectively. He has fifteen years of teaching experience for the undergraduate students during his worked in the college of Engineering and Technology- Department of Basic and Applied Science, Alexandria. Nowadays he is the head of basic and applied sciences department in AASTMT, Sharjah Branch. He published many papers in international journal and conferences. His research interests are plasma physics, climate change, and astroparticle physics.
